Gen Ed Wing Meetings
Beginning AY2023-24, the Gen Ed Board will have a dual-wing structure. Approximately half of the membership will comprise a wing that will review courses, including both those proposals for courses new to General Education and those due for recertification. Review work will be done in subgroups, with materials provided by our office to members, and votes taken at full Board meetings. The second wing, a policy wing comprised of the other half of the Board, will focus efforts on ongoing policy issues that relate to and impact the general education program on our campus.
Gen Ed Wing Meetings are closed to Gen Ed Board members and invited guests only. Items will move from the Gen Ed Wing Meetings to the Gen Ed Full Board Meetings open to the campus community.
Gen Ed Board Membership
The proper distribution of seats on the General Education Board will be subject to revision by the Senate as enrollment trends change and additional colleges assume responsibility for General Education courses. Expand the list below to view current membership.
